The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Solange Kelly as Assistant Vice President, Undergraduate Studies. Dr Kelly has over twenty years of postgraduate research and industrial experience in process optimisation, exergy analysis, exergoeconomic analysis, air conditioning, and manufacturing. With over seven years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Dr Kelly has developed expertise in discrete manufacturing, air conditioning design, and operation.
Dr Kelly holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Energy Engineering from the Faculty of Energy Engineering and Environmental Protection, Technical University, Berlin, Germany. She also holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West Indies (UWI).
Before her most recent appointment, Dr Kelly, an Associate Professor, served as the Programme Leader of the Utilities and Sustainable Engineering Unit at UTT, providing guidance which led to the growth of the Unit’s programme offerings.
