Professionals from the energy and public sectors recently completed the Mastering Supervisory Management course, delivered by UTT's Outreach and Industry Relations Unit at the Chaguanas Campus.

The course brought together engineers, supervisors, technicians and public service officers, creating a dynamic cross-sector learning environment. Participants shared practical experiences while strengthening the competencies required to lead teams effectively in today's evolving workplace.

Through interactive discussions, group case studies and applied activities, participants developed key skills in critical thinking, emotional intelligence, team building, conflict resolution, change management and performance evaluation. The practical format enabled participants to connect management concepts with real workplace challenges and identify strategies for immediate application in their organisations.

The course reflects UTT's Outreach and Industry Relations' continued commitment to strengthening leadership capability and equipping current and aspiring supervisors with practical, industry-relevant skills to lead teams, manage workplace relationships and support improved organisational performance.
