The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) recently hosted its fourth annual National Aerobathon 2026, powered by KFC, an initiative aimed at promoting health, wellness and community engagement through fitness-based activities. The event brought together UTT staff, students and members of the wider national community.

The event, held at the National Cycling Velodrome, Couva, saw title sponsor KFC, along with valued event partners, Central Athletic Club, Guiltless Yogurt, the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, Nestlé Trinidad and Tobago, Oasis, SM Jaleel and 103.1FM, play an integral role in the aerobathon's success through their continued support and collaboration.

This year, over $15,000 in cash and prizes was awarded across various categories. Over one hundred participants took part in an engaging, high-energy aerobic session led by certified instructors, who delivered dynamic routines tailored to all fitness levels, ensuring an inclusive experience for all.

UTT congratulates the overall winner, Dana Lewis, on her performance, and Leston De Roche in securing first place in the male category. Congratulations are also extended to all winners for their dedication and commitment to fitness.

UTT thanks each participant and sponsor for their involvement in the successful execution of the National Aerobathon and looks forward to supporting the fifth staging of the event.
