Graduation will be held November 18th – 20th 2025. There will be a total of five (5) ceremonies as follows: -
Day 1: November 18th, 2025
Ceremony 1 starts at 10:00 a.m.
Ceremony 2 starts at 3:00 p.m.
Day 2: November 19th, 2025
Ceremony 1 starts at 10:00 a.m.
Ceremony 2 starts at 3:00 p.m.
Day 3: November 20th, 2025
Ceremony 1 starts at 10:00 a.m.
Please refer to the Programme Listing for your individual graduation dates.
All Graduands are required to visit the myportal site (https://myportal.utt.edu.tt/ICS/) to complete the Graduation Ceremony Registration Form to confirm your attendance at the Graduation Ceremony. This form is located under the "Student Tab" and must be completed and submitted before the deadline date of Sunday 26th October, 2025.
All Graduands will receive instructions via email with regard to the procession and all details for the graduation day.

The Ceremony for the Presentation of Graduates is a formal one. As such, you are required to dress formally on the day of your graduation:
All graduands will be required to rent a graduation gown at the cost of $500.00.
Payment of gown rental fees can be made at any branch of First Citizens, via direct deposit into UTT’s First Citizens Account # 1501631. On the deposit slip, please write your student identification number and the words “Graduation Gown". A stamped copy of the deposit slip must be presented when collecting the gown
Gowns can be collected at either the John D Campus or the San Fernando Campus from Wednesday November 5th to Saturday November 15th 2025. Monday to Friday collection would be between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday collection would be between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
NOTE: A PRINTED copy of the receipt must be presented as proof of payment when collecting your gown.
No payments will be accepted at the collection site.
The gowns are to be returned to either of the above campuses during the week of November 24th to 29th 2025.
Special Arrangements for Tobago Resident Students and International Students ONLY: -
Students residing in Tobago who are unable to collect their gowns during the period stated above will be allowed to collect their gown on the day of graduation.
Additionally, please note the following:
Ceremonies starting at 10:00 a.m. Gown collection from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Ceremonies starting at 3:00 p.m. Gown collection from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Note that an email would be sent to all Tobago Residents and International students to determine their choice of gown collection i.e. during the period stated above Wednesday November 5th to Saturday November 15th 2025 or on the day of your respective graduation ceremony.
For those opting to collect on the day of your respective ceremony please ensure you indicate via email to ensure that a gown is reserved for you.
Each graduating student will be allotted two (2) invitations, each invitation admitting one (1) per guest. Invitations will be issued at the time of gown collection. No invitations will be given to any student not graduating. Please note than only guests with invitations will be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony.
NOTE: No additional invitations will be available due to limited space at the venue.
All graduands are asked to arrive at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) Auditorium two (2) hours before your respective graduation ceremony. Please ensure that your belongings are secured with your guests. You will be directed to your robing room and will be given assembly instructions there. Half an hour before the ceremony you will proceed to the Graduation Hall as directed by the ushers who will guide you through the ceremony.
During the ceremony you will NOT be allowed to leave your seat except for the presentation to the Chancellor for receipt of your certificate after which you are to return to your seat until the end of the ceremony.
Your certificate is an essential part of your academic portfolio and should be kept in a safe and secure environment, as you will be charged for a replacement. You may however receive transcripts to aid in academic or professional transactions.
A professional photographer will be available on the day of graduation to take portraits of graduands.
Graduation Photo Package
Photo packages are as follows: -
Digital Package 1: $200.00TT
3 facial expressions images and 1 full body ONLY.
Digital Package 2 - $250.00TT
7 images (3 facial expressions; 1 full body; 1 free airbrush and 2 additional poses)
The payment is to be made directly to the Photographer on the day.
Note: Only cash payments would be accepted on the day.

Special arrangements would be made for persons with temporary or permanent disabilities. Please indicate the need for any such special arrangements in writing to nicole.maloney@utt.edu.tt at least one week before graduation. This applies to your guest as well.

Graduating Students can be dropped off at the Main Entrance to the Lord Kitchener Auditorium at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA)
