JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
To provide administrative support and assist with office management activities within the Unit.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists with coordinating and scheduling meetings, events, projects and other office-related activities as assigned.

Prepares various reports, as assigned.

Identifies administrative needs within the Office and develops appropriate recommendations.

Analyses procedures and workflows related to the Office and recommends improvements.
-
Interfaces with various units, academic centres and other internal and external agents on a daily basis to source and disseminate information.

Interprets and applies laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the University in the performance of duty.

Undertakes projects and special assignments.
-
Performs other related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Advanced Diploma in Business / Office Administration or equivalent. (Bachelor's Degree in a Social Sciences field will be considered an asset.)

Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
