JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the gym facilities and provide guidance and instructions to students, staff and any other designated user of gym equipment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises usage of equipment to ensure safety, effectiveness and compliance with relevant operational guidelines.
• Designs and supervises exercise programmes for gym users.
• Facilitates fitness tests and provides related analysis and guidance.
• Ensures there are sufficient supplies of resources at all times for safe operational use, and reports any required replacements or repairs.
• Facilitates induction programmes.
• Promotes the use of the sports facilities and related services.
• Provides information regarding the facility, programmes and membership options.
• Performs any other related duties that may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of five (5) O’Level passes
• Physical Training or Gym Instructor’s Certification
• Previous work experience in a similar field/position preferred
