JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
The Studio Manager is responsible for managing production matters, optimizing workflow to achieve project objectives and building relationships with creative industry entities.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Cultivates strong creative relationships between external and internal animation teams;

Oversees quality control over all incoming animation assets; provides feedback and approvals regarding the delivery of quality assets to the animation team;

Assists with determining outsourcing needs, pipelines, budgets and costs for animation assets;

Manages projects to ensure on-time completion;
-
Identifies and researches outsourcing entities to supplement the capacity of the TTAP Factory;
-
Assists with establishing and maintaining production schedules and workflows on assigned projects;
-
Prepares reports regularly; identifies constraints and proposes or undertakes corrective measures;
-
Manages multiple work streams and teams;
-
Maintains communication across teams;
-
Displays and communicates a strong knowledge of innovative production technologies and the capabilities/limitations of these technologies;

Assists with addressing technical issues that impact production;
-
Identifies resource needs and makes recommendations to address resource requirements;
-
Mentors animators, provides support, guidance, and instructions for their professional growth and development;
-
Displays sound judgment in all areas of performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Master's degree in the digital media arts or related field
-
5+ years' experience in similar role in the animation industry with solid evidence of success

Broad working knowledge of pre-production and post-production stages

Proven expertise in the use of Project Management Software (e.g. Toon Boom Harmony and Maya, MS Project)
