Past UTT Patriots High Performance Table Tennis student-athlete and fashion designer, Daniel Clarke, has been touring with soca diva, Patrice Roberts, for her performances abroad.

Clarke has been designing and constructing original pieces and concepts for Roberts, who has publicly credited Clarke for her look, which she described as "fly" and "dope" on her social media platforms.

Hailing from Tobago, Clarke graduated from UTT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion Design in 2018. In that same, year he was awarded the UTT "Student of the Year" award with his collection called "Apathy".

Clarke is the Founder and Creative Director of fashion brand "Fluorescent Black" which he launched in 2016, during his degree programme. A brand he describes as "Urban Afro Streetwear Sophistication" within the Caribbean market.

He is a previous award-winning designer of the culturally inspired Caribbean Style and Culture (CSC) Runway Showcase, an event that recognises the significant contributions made by designers to the arts industry in the region.

Clarke has also designed custom looks for other soca personalities such as Nailah Blackman, CollegeBoy Jesse, Nadia Batson and Adana.
