The MTCC has also conducted a Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) for the Caribbean, identifying the technology gaps, technology availability, stakeholder priorities, and provided a technology action plan to facilitate technology uptake across the region. MTCC Caribbean's TNA, in conjunction with the pilot project reports, highlight the status of shipboard energy efficiency and emission abatement technologies, as well as what is needed to transition to a low carbon and resilient future for maritime shipping in the Caribbean Region.
