Energy Efficiency in the maritime sector has never been as relevant, or as deeply urgent as it is now. The global response to the climate crisis has intensified decarbonization efforts across the maritime sector, but gaps remain in the implementation of the IMO's energy efficiency framework, which provides indicators for measuring the energy efficiency of ships. Researcher Tevin Parris aims to bridge one of these gaps by proposing new variables which can be used to apply the IMO's Energy Efficiency framework to Offshore Support Vessels.
