The concept of the Blue Economy has gained traction over the last decade with many Caribbean countries designating Ministries or agencies as focal points for the coordination of blue governance. Noting the differences between the blue economy and the ocean economy, researchers Michael Razack and Vivian Rambarath Parasram have been monitoring the implementation of blue economy and blue growth strategies in Trinidad and Tobago and the Wider Caribbean Region.
