Dr Aatma Maharajh is an Assistant Professor attached to the Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing and Entrepreneurship Unit. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the West Indies, a Master of Science degree in Industrial Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management, Doctor of Philosophy in Manufacturing Engineering and Certificate of University Teaching, all from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Dr Maharajh lectures in the areas of operations management, supply chain management, business strategy, and marketing. He has published in both regional and international journals and conferences in a wide array of fields including desalination, renewable energy applications (wave energy and solar energy), crop irrigation, and tertiary education. His research interests are related to areas of operations management, resource management, desalination and application of renewable energy technologies.
