Selwyn R. Cudjoe is Professor Emeritus at Wellesley College, Massachusetts.  He has taught at Harvard University, Cornell University, Fordham University, and Ohio University.  Outside of academia, he has written for many newspapers including the New York Times, The Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun, Washington Post, and the Amsterdam News.  Professor Cudjoe has also authored several books including The Slave Master of Trinidad, Beyond Boundary: The Intellectual Tradition of Trinidad and Tobago and Resistance and Caribbean Literature.  He was also a weekly columnist of the Trinidad Express.
