Mr. Morris is a former Trinidad and Tobago National player/captain, whose experience includes playing with the famous 1989 Strike Squad. Several other teams with which he played throughout his active career include the St Ann’s Rangers, John Donaldson Technical Institute, Trintoc, United Petrotrin, ASL Sports Club, Soul City, ECM Motown and the United States of America Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club.

Clayton represented the Trinidad and Tobago Senior National Football Team for (10) years, played over one hundred (100) games and served as captain for five (5) years. He also represented the Trinidad and Tobago National Under-19 team from 1979 to 1981.

In his post career, Clayton got involved in coaching, where he earned the opportunity to assist and coach the National Under-20 and Senior National teams. During his coaching career he was fortunate to coach prominent players such as Kenwyn Jones, Brent Sancho, Marvin Andrews, Russell Latapy, Dwight Yorke and Shaka Hislop.

Mr. Morris is also the coach of the first ever Trinidad and Tobago National Futsal Team, which were the Caribbean Football Union Champions in 2004 and 2008. He delivers motivational speeches to young people, as well as to convicted prisoners in the nation’s prisons and continues to share his experience and knowledge of the sport of football.
