Yanitza Wilson-Ollivierre possesses an MSc in Nanophysics and Advanced Materials from the  Complutense University of Madrid, as well as an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.  Her undergraduate degree is in Physics  from The University of the West Indies. 

She has more than a decade of teaching experience and currently holds the position of Instructor II with the Project Management and Civil Infrastructure Systems unit as a Physics and Materials Lecturer. Her research interests include production of heavy oils, semiconductors, and construction materials.
