Ms. Ottley, a graduate of The University of Trinidad and Tobago was offered a netball scholarship in 2007 and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Studies, where she majored in Exercise Science and Sport for Development. She is now part of the strength and conditioning department at the University.

Miss Ottley also played netball and represented the UTT High Performance netball team for several years. She also represented Trinidad and Tobago in netball at both Under 16 and senior levels and represented the nation in basketball at the senior level.

In 2010 Ms. Ottley was selected for the senior national netball team for the AFNA/World Qualifiers tournament in St. Lucia, as well as the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. In 2009 she was again chosen for the senior national netball team to play against the England Under-21 side. In 2005 she represented Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Basketball Confederation Fifth Junior Championships and in 2000, travelled to St. Vincent and the Grenadines as part of the Under 16 National Netball Team.

Ms. Ottley is also a certified Massage Therapist and a NASM certified Corrective Exercise Specialist.
