Krisson Joseph is Programme Coordinator at The Academy for the Performing Arts at The University of Trinidad and Tobago. In this capacity he is afforded the opportunity to work with a number of dedicated and talented students as well as a top quality faculty of performing artists and arts administrators. While completing undergraduate studies in Economics and Business Management at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, it became clear to Krisson that he had to spend his life in service to the arts - thank God for a liberal arts education. At this point his sights were set on an Arts/Business hybrid future and he found the needed channel in Greenwich Village at New York University’s Steinhardt School pursuing a Music Business graduate programme.

This course of study has done just what he had hoped by getting him a foot in to arts administration, where he continues to nurture his love of performing arts. Krisson relishes the APA environment as one in which he can put the full range of his skills to work as an administrator, instructor and performer. Krisson's love and dedication to performing arts, especially in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean is undeniable. He continues to research possibilities for the growth of the West Indian Performing Arts Industry even as he maintains his presence on the local performance circuit. His vocal range is impressive both in terms of the varying styles he effortlessly moves between and the musical range of his instrument. As a vocalist, Krisson's performance credits include performances with jazz aficionados such as Dave Marcellin, Raf Robertson and Theron Shaw and several calypso and folk performances with the UTT Ibis Ensemble. Additionally Krisson performs with The Classical Music Development Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago as well as The University of the West Indies Festival Arts Choral and his church choir.
