The Academy for the Performing Arts  (APA) Brass Ensemble and Jazz Combo visited St Francis Boys College in Belmont on Thursday 14th March, 2024 as part of an annual event which has led to multiple events and extra music lessons being offered at the school.

This time, the ensembles performed in a variety of jazz styles; swing, gospel and Latin and gave the students some insight into playing brass instruments as well as our programme at UTT.

APA students performed well for an enthusiastic and attentive group of boys some of whom were very interested in pursuing their musical education. So we may be seeing them at UTT soon!
