The APA Pan Fellowship is a ground-breaking programme offering participants a culturally immersive and practical learning environment, infused with the traditions of steelpan in the broader context of indigenous percussion and pan-Caribbean music. The fellowship strives to produce well-rounded practitioners, familiar with the community-building qualities of pan and the cultural connectivity inherent in its heritage. Applications will be invited from those already in a recognised programme of study in Trinidad and Tobago, the Caricom region or internationally. Application will also be open within the Advanced Fellowship programme to those who demonstrate advanced proficiency in steelpan and/or percussion and hold position or authority in the music industry wheresoever they may be based.
