The Industrial Advisory Board provides a forum in which the Programme's educational and research offerings and future policies are presented and discussed with representatives from industry.

The aim is to continuously improve the relevance of the output of people and services to the industries the University serves and to secure the active co-operation and support of those industries.  In this context, the Board:

• Examines new educational ideas for certificates, diplomas, first and higher degrees and recommends means by which the graduates can meet industry needs.
• Promotes closer academic/industry collaboration in undergraduate, postgraduate and professional development education.
• Promotes collaborative research activities between the University and Industry.
