IN A SPECIAL book launch, the Heroes Foundation honoured Professor Kenneth S. Julien (Emeritus) T.C., Chairman of the Board of Governors,The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) by capturing his inspirational story and significant achievements in a sequential arts publication, Powered Up! – The Ken Julien Story.

A collaborative initiative of the Heroes Foundation and the Proman Group of Companies, this exciting publication is set to preserve Professor Julien’s rich legacy of perseverance and selfless patriotism for currentand future generations. An accurate account of professor Julien’s life can be attributed to the book’s biographer, his granddaughter, Ms. Kaylan Julien.

Held at UTT Point Lisas Campus on October 2nd, 2019, the book launch featured The Honourable Minister Anthony Garcia, Minister of Education, Mr. Jerome Dookie, CEO, Caribbean Nitrogen Company Limited and Board Member, UTT, and Mr. Conrad Enill, Chairman of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, all of whom gave glowing tributes to Professor Julien, describing him as an architect of Trinidad and Tobago’s energy industry landscape.

The University of Trinidad and Tobago joins the Heroes Foundation and the Proman Group of Companies in celebrating Professor Kenneth S. Julien (Emeritus) T.C. for his heroic service to the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
