Steve is a Senior Lecturer at The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine.
His teaching, research, and practice focusses on three areas:
1. Behavioural Design for Public Policy 2. Electoral Persuasion, and 3. Creativity and Aesthetics.

Steve is a graduate of the Executive Education Programme in Public Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. He has an MA, Distinction, from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and a BFA, Honours, from The School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Steve has exhibited political art and design work, and presented papers at: Tate Modern, London; Brooklyn Museum, New York City; Reykjavik Academy, Iceland; Guangzhou Biennale, China; Havana Biennale, Cuba; The National Gallery of Art Kingston, Jamaica; Parc de la Centrale Mahault, Guadeloupe; Documenta Hall, Kassel Germany.

He has taught at the Caribbean School of Architecture, University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica. He was also Curator of Education and Research at The Institute of International Visual Arts in London.
