Dr. Adita Maharaj has considerable experience at both the ECCE and primary levels having spent over thirteen years in the primary school system as a Teacher 1. In 2004, she joined the Ministry of Education, ECCE Division as an ECCE Curriculum Programme Facilitator, after which she was appointed Curriculum Coordinator and finally Assistant Manager, ECCE attached to the School Supervision and Management Division, Ministry of Education. Her tertiary teaching experience commenced at the University of the West Indies. At present, she is a member of full time faculty attached to the Centre for Education Programmes as an Assistant Professor. She facilitates students at both the Certificate and Bachelors in Education programmes.
