The dynamics associated with changing landscape of Trinidad and Tobago.  The limits to controlling development in an island state as well as the unintended consequences of unsustainable development have resulted in severe challenges which are only just surfacing. There is a need to understand how we arrived at this point and to suggest new and far reaching solutions
