Aimee's academic excellence, leadership, and dedication to marine conservation have set a new benchmark for aspiring scientists within the programme.

She currently serves as a Research Assistant at UTT's Marine Sciences Unit while pursuing research-based postgraduate studies with a focus on Marine Megafauna and Acoustic Monitoring. Aimee has also volunteered with several local, regional, and international NGOs to build a strong foundation in marine megafauna conservation, most notably with the Turtle Village Trust (TVT), the Caribbean Cetacean Society (CCS), and the AQUASIS Manatee Rehabilitation Center in Brazil.

With an adventurous spirit and a deep determination to positively impact the Caribbean's marine environment, Aimee embodies what it means to be a UTT student and the opportunities the University can unlock. Her advice to future students? "Go after your passions with confidence, knowing you are never too small or unworthy to do something great."
