National knowledge leader on climate change mitigation and adaptation: Fourteen years of energy sector to climate change experience, a seasoned professional regarded nationally as being at the forefront of the field of green house gas (GHG) emissions reductions.

Research has developed precise methodology and national policy: Highly rated researcher and senior climate change and energy efficiency specialist with a Ph.D. in Process and Utilities Engineering. Doctoral work on the Cost-Effective Strategies for Greenhouse Gas Mitigation in Trinidad and Tobago is a guiding principle in the areas of greenhouse gas mitigation and climate change reduction, and is often relied upon in setting national environmental and climate change policy and institutional framework.

Data gathering, data analysis and addressing data gaps: Researched and mapped carbon dioxide emissions from key industries (including power generation, transport and energy industry sectors) in Trinidad & Tobago and presented a precise methodology for measuring, reporting, and verification (MRV), of carbon and methane emissions to assess and evaluate the financial feasibility / costs of mitigation action potential.

Renewable energy and energy efficiency authority: Working within the committee confines of the Energy Chamber of Trinidad and Tobago (the most powerful NGO in the country in relation to impacting a low-carbon future), has led renewable energy and energy efficiency thinking by measuring and documenting the impact of GHG emissions in Trinidad and Tobago and outlining the way forward.

Peer reviewed author: One of the original researchers in The Natural Gas Institute of the Americas (NGIA) in studies emphasizing Environmental Protection in the spectrum from Econometric Analysis to Production Efficiency and a lead author on many peer reviewed publications.

Excellent organizational skills teaching students and facilitating meetings with students, peers, industry stakeholders, members of civil society and government policymakers. Independent work with the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (Petrotrin) Oil Fields Associated Gas Recovery and Utilization Programme of Activities Clean Development Mechanism project.
