The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) proudly hosted a group of students and teachers from Lycée Acajou in Martinique on Thursday 16th January, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering regional development and building foreign linkages with the French Caribbean.
The students visited UTT's state-of-the-art campus at the National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA), where they were warmly welcomed by Dr. Roger Henry. His captivating storytelling about the intersection of Caribbean culture, identity, and education left a lasting impression on the group. The modern, breathtaking architecture of the campus also captivated the students, underscoring the vibrant opportunities available to those pursuing studies at UTT.
The visit served as a platform for enriching discussions on Caribbean culture and identity, encouraging the students to explore how they can embrace and celebrate their unique heritage. Teachers noted that the students were highly engaged, asking insightful questions and taking a keen interest in the possibilities that UTT offers for higher education and personal development.
