The University of Trinidad and Tobago's (UTT) RAPturous Voices Chorale delivered a resounding success with their 2024 concert, Melodious, held at the Winifred Atwell Auditorium at Queen's Hall on November 16th and 17th, 2024.  The Chorale captivated audiences over two enchanting evenings, showcasing a rich and diverse repertoire that ranged from contemporary to classical, pop, and timeless Christmas selections.

One highlight was the rhythmic rendition of the late Mighty Shadow's Dingolay, uniquely arranged by the Chorale's Artistic and Music Director, Mr Richard Pierre. This tribute resonated deeply with the audience, celebrating the cultural heritage of Trinidad and Tobago.  The concert concluded on a high-note with the spirited and awe-inspiring performance of Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, leaving attendees in rapturous applause.

UTT RAPturous Voices Chorale exemplifies the essence of community engagement, being a dynamic group comprising past and present staff, students and members of the broader community.  The Chorale continues their outreach efforts, fostering connections through the universal language of music.

The University of Trinidad and Tobago takes pride in supporting this remarkable initiative, which not only highlights the artistic talent within its community, but also enriches the cultural landscape of Trinidad and Tobago.
