Christian Hood-Boyce, the recipient of a UTT sports scholarship in 2013, has embarked on an extraordinary journey that exemplifies academic and professional excellence. After completing the Certificate in Security and Public Safety at UTT, Christian moved to the United Kingdom in 2015 to pursue higher education.

Over the past decade, he has achieved remarkable milestones, obtaining a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services from Loughborough College, and Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from Loughborough University. He is currently pursuing a Graduate Diploma in Law.

Christian's professional journey focused on public service, which is highlighted by his pivotal role in the UK Civil Service. In 2020, during the complex Brexit negotiations, he secured a permanent appointment as a Higher Executive Officer in the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, Northern Ireland Directorate. His contributions were crucial in achieving the Windsor Framework for Northern Ireland, in renegotiations with the European Union (EU). Christian's dedication led to an invitation for him to speak at Loughborough College in 2022, sharing insight into a career in the UK Civil Service. In September 2023, Christian achieved another significant career milestone by joining a prestigious State Office and playing a key role in organising the first multilateral Artificial Intelligence Safety Summit in November 2023. The summit, held at Bletchley Park, resulted in the historic Bletchley Declaration, signed by twenty-eight countries, including countries within the EU, and the United States of America.

Christian's story serves as an inspiration to current and prospective UTT students, showcasing the limitless possibilities that unfold with dedication and commitment. The University proudly acknowledge Christian Hood-Boyce's achievements, celebrating a true ambassador of UTT and ICPS on the global stage.
