The University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) congratulates Dr Samraj Jaimungal (h.c.), also known as Rikki Jai, on securing third place at Dimanche Gras 2026.

In 2023, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts by UTT for his contribution to soca/chutney music.

This achievement enhances his already decorated musical career and the University extends best wishes for his continued success.
