Founded in 2023 in Columbia, South Carolina, R3 Fast Track is a fast-growing youth track and field programme built on purpose, discipline, and opportunity. The programme was established by Kyle Stanley and Darren Alfred, two former UTT Patriots student-athletes who share a passion for developing young athletes both on and off the track.

The name R3 Fast Track reflects the organisation’s guiding philosophy: Renew, Rebuild, and Restore. This mission represents the commitment to renewing confidence, rebuilding discipline, and restoring hope within every athlete who enters their programme. Serving athletes between the ages of five and eighteen years old, R3 Fast Track focuses on athletic performance, education, and mindset development. Since its inception, thirty-nine athletes have been part of the programme, each receiving personalised training designed to maximise both their athletic potential and personal growth.

R3 Fast Track is more than a traditional track club, it is a movement dedicated to using sport as a tool for life preparation. Through structured training, accountability, and mentorship, the programme emphasises leadership, resilience, and character development, while also creating pathways for athletes to pursue collegiate scholarships and long-term success beyond athletics.

Now entering its third year of operation, R3 Fast Track rapidly established itself as one of the most competitive youth track programmes in the south-east region. Between the 2024 and 2025 seasons, the programme achieved outstanding success at the national level, producing eleven National Champions and forty-one All-American athletes. These results reflect the programme’s ability to prepare young competitors to perform at the highest stages of youth track and field in the United States.

At the regional and state levels, R3 Fast Track athletes consistently dominated championship competitions. The programme recorded a total of forty-four Regional Championship medals, including twenty-four gold, fifteen silver, and five bronze finishes. At the state level, athletes earned an impressive eighty-nine State Championship medals, made up of forty-four gold, twenty-four silver, and twenty-one bronze performances. These results highlight not only top-end talent but also the depth and consistency of the programme across multiple age groups and events.

Performance excellence is further demonstrated through record-breaking achievements and measurable athlete development. R3 Fast Track athletes set nine indoor state records and six outdoor state records, a testament to the programme’s emphasis on technical efficiency, strength development, and speed progression. Across all competitions, athletes accumulated four hundred and thirty seven medals and achieved more than five hundred personal records, underscoring a culture focused on continuous improvement and individual growth.

Among the programme’s most remarkable accomplishments is the development of the fastest twelve-year-old boy in the United States, who recorded elite times of 11.70 seconds in the 100 meters and 23.99 seconds in the 200 meters. These performances captured national attention and exemplify the high-performance standard R3 Fast Track strives to maintain.

The success of R3 Fast Track is grounded in its leadership. Coach Kyle Stanley, a native of Chaguanas, Trinidad, specialised in the 400m and 800m and represented both UTT and the Trinidad and Tobago National team before earning a full athletic scholarship in the United States. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Business Administration. Coach Darren Alfred, from Bethel, Tobago, excelled in the 200m and 400m events, also representing UTT and the national team, before earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management.

As R3 Fast Track moves into its third season, the programme remains focused on expanding opportunities, developing scholarship-ready athletes, and proudly representing on the national stage.
