Once again UTT – Academy of Sport & Leisure scholarship student Aditi Soondarsingh scored big as the National Female Champion in the just concluded 2008 National Chess Championships that took place at COSTAATT in Port of Spain. It was jointly sponsored by New India Assurance Co (T&T) Ltd & Methanol Holdings (Trinidad) Limited.

The two top places were taken by players in the UTT’s Chess Development Programme.

Aditi scored a perfect 8 wins out of 8 games, a round robin contest.
