Caiphus Moore, Senior Instructor, Digital Media Arts (Game Art) at UTT’s Academy for the Performing Arts (APA), recently placed third in a worldwide (and whirlwind!) 7-day 3D challenge on Art Heroes - a web-based Academy, which like the APA, teaches the creation of artwork for the video game and animation industries.

Undaunted and curious to learn how Art Heroes paces its challenges, he signed up to create an original character from concept to completion at breakneck speed, uploading his daily progress to Instagram.  Caiphus prevailed over all but two of the 1400 participants from 101 countries.  The winners were selected by professional judges.

Watch this Facebook livestream of the Award Ceremony, during which Trinidad and Tobago is mentioned first among all participating nations!
