Ritual Music by David Skidmore is an energetic, tribal percussion quartet that frequents chamber music concert programmes. Originally written for a dance troupe, the piece moves with a driving intensity that draws the listener in with complexity and groove. 

This performance by the APA Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Assistant Professor Josh Watkins was recorded at the National Academy for the Performing Arts during APAFEST 2018 - the annual Performing Arts Festival of The Academy for the Performing Arts. The ensemble consists of skilled undergraduate and graduate students who specialise in mallets, drums, mixed, and world percussion.
