L & R: First and second year acting students learning how to root the vocal aspect of their actor work in their physical bodies.  They are led by guest instructor David Smukler, Canadian Voice Coach (York University, Stratford Ontario Shakespeare Festival, etc.).

From October 2 - 13, 2017, Professor Smukler worked with students of all the performing areas as well as faculty to examine performance tension patterns.  His visit is the opening gesture in the development of an ongoing relationship between UTT's Academy for the Performing Arts and York University in the field of acting.
