It's finally here!  Following a full year of development and construction, from the very first mock-up to the finished product, The Academy for the Performing Arts is thrilled to launch @APA Online - your portal to everything APA. Our new website responds to APA's long need of an appropriate platform for the marketing and promotion of its many and varied programmes of study, but even a glance at the homepage will make something else clear:  @APA Online is also about promoting the performing arts as a live experience.

What's On @APA is the permanent headline on the homepage, allowing present and future APA patrons to scan the six upcoming events at APA.  Beyond this mini-preview, the Calendar in the menu of the site gives a broader overview, perfect for those who like to put things in their diaries early!

Life @APA is the space for news, reports, reviews, research and anything else we think the world needs to know about APA.  That said, if you know you only want to see items about one aspect of APA life, the dropdown menu will allow you to filter according to your interests.

As we launch @APA Online, we are incredibly proud to note that it is the product of both faculty and student work. Its editorial committee is populated to a large extent by students participating in a special APA Elective, open to all our students regardless of specialisation.  As such, all the photographs, videos, music and 3D animations you see on the site, as well as all our social media platforms were generated by students.

The Academy for the Performing Arts was always intended to be firmly rooted in its local community but also extend its reach to embrace the region and beyond.  We're very excited to see where our new online portal, takes us, and who it will bring closer to us over time.
