Digital Media Arts

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Digital Media Arts is a four-year programme of full-time study for those with a passion for Animation, Music Technology or Game Art. It is a hands-on programme, supported by a curriculum that is geared toward the international industry. The programme values our national and regional cultural context and has a strong practical emphasis, designed to encourage students to acquire key animation, game art or music production skills locally.

Graduates of the programme will be equipped to generate and develop ideas, design, execute, produce, and complete the delivery of complex media projects for local and global mass media. They will also be familiar with industry standard practices and the use of cutting edge hardware and software. Each of the four academic years is divided into two semesters, with a Production and Performance period at the culmination of each year.

BFA students enjoy:

  • An innovative programme of full-time or part-time intensive study
  • Excellent teaching and mentorship by active professionals in their field of study
  • Diverse exposure within a stimulating multidisciplinary environment
  • Regular practical and pre-professional opportunities
