There are numerous opportunities for engineers in organizations involved in maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO), Aircraft and Engine leasing/financing, flying (airlines fixed and rotary wing), regulating aircraft (Civil Aviation Authorities) design and manufacturing, research and Government worldwide.
There is currently an unfulfilled worldwide need for engineers in the aviation industry. This is projected to continue well into the next two decades as indicated by aircraft manufacturers like Boeing and Airbus.
The industry is expanding at the rate of over 6% per annum and through to 2036 there will be a need for 648,000 new Aviation Technical Personnel across the globe. (Boeing outlook 2017)
