All offerings in the MME Unit have been awarded programme recognition/approval from The Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT).

The MME Unit was recently successful in obtaining accreditation and reaccreditation for three (3) programmes with The Institute of Engineering and Technology:

• Diploma in National Engineering Technician – Mechanical programme from The Institute of Engineering and Technology (Partial IEng Status). 3 years accreditation from the 2023 intake to the 2025 intake backdated to the 2020 intake.

• Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing and Design Engineering from The Institute of Engineering and Technology (Partial CEng Status). 3 years accreditation from the 2023 intake to the 2025 intake backdated to the 2022 intake.

• Master of Science in Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship from The Institute of Engineering and Technology (Partial CEng – Further Learning). 3 years accreditation from the 2023 intake to the 2025 intake backdated to the 2022 intake.
