UTT’s Academy for the Performing Arts offers intensive, professional training in Dance, Music, Acting, Design Technology and Management, and Music and Entertainment Technology in a conservatory-like environment. Many of the courses will concentrate on our Caribbean approach to these arts. UTT offers short, intensive courses as well as one-year certificates, two-year diplomas and a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (BFA).
For the BFA programme, all students will participate in the core courses of the Academy, the courses of their chosen discipline, and then will choose any combination of electives offered that will provide the requisite number of credits towards the degree. Students will also be actively involved in performance projects. The faculty will advise and facilitate student choices.
